North Alabama Birding Trail The North Alabama Birding Trail (NABT) is a project being developed by TVA plus several partners including North Alabama Tourist Association, Decatur/Morgan County Convention & Visitor’s Bureau, Florence/Lauderdale Tourism, Colbert County Tourism, and the Marshall County Convention & Visitor’s Bureau. The North Alabama Birding Trail will consist of 41 birding sites located in northern Alabama, with Guntersville/Marshall County having 11 sites listed. |

Lake Guntersville State Park - Cascade Trail Follows a natural woodshed with large boulders, pools, cliffs and wild azaleas. Access at 35 mph sign just inside park entrance on the back side of the Nature Trail across from the lodge; follow the blue markings; 1 mile. |

Lake Guntersville State Park - Water Trail May be entered from back side of Nature Trail at Lodge or from Park road. A small waterfall is present during times of sufficient rainfall. Wild azaleas and cliffs. Moderate; follow yellow markings; about .75 miles. |

Lake Guntersville State Park - Town Creek Multipurpose Trail Hiking Trail Bicycle Trail (Work in progress) The goal is to go completely around Town Creek. Between 20 and 30 miles of trail will be built and maintained for the duration of the Park.
